First of all, let us know what the difference between D.El.Ed and B.L.Ed?

Friends b.el.ed is a four-year course. In which you can take direct admission after twelfth.

This course is a mixer of graduation and BTC. Whereas D.El.Ed is a 2-year course in which you take admission after graduation.

What is B.L.Ed?  

The full name of B.el.ed is Bachelor of Elementary Education. This course duration is for four years. In which, for the first three years, you are taught the combined theory and practical of planetary tuition and in the fourth year, the activities related to Teaching related programs and the whole personality of becoming your teacher are developed in it.

This is a primary level course. After doing this course, you can become a government teacher in any primary school.

Besides becoming a government teacher, you can become a teacher of any private school after doing this course. That is, after doing b.el.ed, you can do the job of a teacher in any government and private school.

B.El.Ed.  Eligibility?

Let’s know what should be the qualification to do BLED course.

  • 10+2 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, completed from a recognized educational Board.
  • 2-year diploma in Elementary Education
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level.
  • Candidates appearing for their 10+2 final examinations are also eligible to apply for B.El.Ed.course on a provisional basis.

For admission, girls must have passed 12th standard. General candidates must have a total of 55 percent marks in one language and three other subjects and at least 50 percent marks in each subject. Other Backward Castes (OBC) candidates will get 10 percent discount as compared to the general. For SC, ST and Christian candidates, only passing in class 12 is necessary.

What is Admission Process OF B.El.Ed.

In order to enroll in a BLEd course, a state level entrance exam is conducted in most of the institutes, after which counseling starts, the counseling rounds include group discussion and two additional rounds of personal interviews, in which the candidate for the course General competency is checked.

Some institutes get admission on the basis of merit of 12th, then separate entrance examination is taken by some institutes, after which admission is given on the basis of merit.
