Eligibility for Course on Computer Concepts:

The CCC Examination administered by NIELIT offers three different modes for candidates to participate, each with its own eligibility criteria:

1. Candidates sponsored by NIELIT approved Institutes: Individuals enrolled in CCC courses through NIELIT approved institutes can apply, regardless of their educational qualifications.
2. Candidates sponsored by Government recognized Schools/Colleges: Students from government recognized schools or colleges who have obtained a Unique Identity number from NIELIT for conducting CCC are eligible, regardless of their educational qualifications.
3. Direct Applicants: Individuals who wish to apply directly, without undergoing an accredited course or sponsorship from a government recognized school/college, are also eligible, regardless of their educational qualifications.

The total duration of the CCC course is 80 hours, divided into 32 hours of theory and 48 hours of practicals. Ideally, the course can be completed intensively over a period of two weeks.

These eligibility criteria and course durations are tailored to provide equal opportunities for individuals of diverse backgrounds to acquire essential computer skills through the CCC Examination.

Who Can conduct the CCC course?

The Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) can be conducted by institutions that have obtained specific authorization from NIELIT for this purpose. These authorized institutions are responsible for imparting the education and training necessary for CCC. Additionally, individuals have the option to study the course through self-learning mode. They can independently pursue the course and apply directly as candidates for the CCC examination conducted by NIELIT. This approach enables students to have flexibility in their learning journey, allowing them to choose between institution-based learning or self-study based on their preferences and circumstances. NIELIT ensures that both institutional and self-learning paths provide opportunities for individuals to gain proficiency in computer concepts through the CCC program.

Public Notice: NIELIT DLC/DVP (CCC/BCC/CCCP/ECC/ACC) Examination of July 2023 Exam Cycle is scheduled from 11th July 2023 till 16th July 2023. Admit card will be available to download at Student Web Portal (https://student.nielit.gov.in) tentatively on 5th July 2023.
