UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test ) Syllabus 2019 (Paper 1 and 2), Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Updated   – on 6th fab 2k19         

The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has released the official UPTET Syllabus for Paper 1 and 2. No changes have been made in the exam pattern or syllabus of UPTET Exam so far.

UPTET Paper 1st: Questions from Child Development, Learning & Pedagogy, 1st Language, 2ndLanguage, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies are asked. Check Tips to Crack UPTET 2019

UPTET Paper 2nd: Candidate will have an option in the fourth subject between Mathematics or Science and Social Studies.

UPTET exam will be scheduled for November 4, 2019, as expected in online (it would be computer-based) mode. The recruitment exam is conducted for the post of Primary and Upper Primary Level teachers in various schools of Uttar Pradesh.

Both the papers examine the capabilities of candidates able to teach students of primary and upper primary level.

Highlights of UPTET Exam Pattern

The pattern for both the papers in UPTET 2019 is more or less similar. However, the sections and their difficulty level vary as per the paper is chosen. Here are the highlights:

This paper focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to classes 1 to 5.

Topics in this paper focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse aspirants interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.

UPTET Syllabus is based on the topics given in NCERT Books of class 1 to 5.

The section on Maths and EVS evaluates a candidate on his facts, concepts, and understanding of the subject.

Language papers simply test the candidate for their skill.
